Richardson, William James "Jim, Jumbo" Peacefully at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital, on Wednesday February 13, 2019 at the age of 75. Jim Richardson beloved husband of 57 years to Pearl (Blower). Son of the late Henry and Margaret Richardson. Loving father of Christine (Adrian), Beverley (Paul) and Bill (Tracey). Dearly loved grandfather of Dustin (Renée), Summer, Josh, Hayley (Philippe), Austin (Cassie), Liam, Lochlan, Kris and Jamie as well as great-grandfather to Hudson, Walker, Laken and Adeline. Jim is survived by his siblings Brian (Dottie), Royden, Sheldon (Nicholos), Heather and Debbie (Marc). Predeceased by his sisters Beverly and Aloma.
Jim was a man of many hobbies. He loved model trains, Hot Wheels, toy collecting, music and road trips. He very much enjoyed sharing his toys with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as any of their friends that stopped by. Jim loved guitar jam sessions with his brothers, sisters and their extended family. His road trips were many and always adventurous.
Jim "Jumbo" believed the necessities of life included the love of family, coffee, hamburgers, blue plaid shirts, jeans, black boots, a rake in hand and his willingness to help anyone with his generosity.
The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. As per Jim's request, there will be a private family gathering at a later date. All professional Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. Those desiring may make donations in memory of Jim, below; to the charity of your choice.

My sincere condolences to Pearl, and their children, and grandchildren. I remember Jimmy as a young boy in lowertown, Pembroke, at Henry and Margaret's gas station on highway 17. Very sad to hear of your loss. Much love, Doris Jenkins (Allen)

Fond memories of Jim at the house on Hwy 62 and the many times he’d bring Granny and Pappy to our house in Chalk River for a coffee.
My sympathies for your loss.

Uncle Jim, I dont even know where to start. I'm not sure if you know, but the lessons you've taught us over the years, are countless. The endless, fabulous stories that you've told us all, over time, had an impact you may have not realized. We all learned from you, to always stand up for yourself, no matter what!!! Bella and Wes proudly display their treasures from you, and Aunt Pearl, with pride. We shall always live WWJD. Some say it's what What Would Jesus Do, but here? It's What Would Jim Do! We love you and know you're explaining how to make Heaven more efficient!!! ❤

Oh Summer… I’m so so sorry.
Where do I begin when it comes to Jim? To this day one of my all time favourite neighbours, your whole family was so good to us growing up. Jim and Pearl always went out of their way to include me in everything, be it a trip to McDonald’s or checking out all of those amazing trains in the basement! He was always, always laughing and smiling! When I was 16 and got my first job at our local Walmart, toy department, Jim knew if he showed up while I was in I’d sneak in the back and pull out whatever Hot Wheels boxes were back that! We’d sneakily open it up and he’d dig through it, excited as a kid on Christmas every time! He swore there was always one ‘special’ or unique collector car in every box! And the man was pretty much right every time! ❤️
All of my love to you and your family Summer. Send all of the love and condolences imaginable from the George’s. We were so lucky to have known such a wonderful man, and our hearts truly go out to you ❤️❤️❤️
